American Bedu wishes all Muslims the world over a blessed and joyous Eid Mubarak as Ramadan 2012 has come to its close. May all Muslims remember and treat each day with the same spirit and meaning of Ramadan as they celebrate Eid al Fitr.
I know that if I were still in Saudi Arabia with my Saudi family we would have had a busy day starting with the dawn breaking Eid prayers. Afterwards it would be returning to a house filled with extended family and all in their best new dresses. The men (young and old) would all look like handsome Prince’s in their Eid clothes complete with dashing bischt.
The entire day would be filled with company, visitors and special foods but most of all, that warm feeling of love for everyone.
Again, Eid Mubarak 2012!
