Thanks for the update!
This is very promising!
I have no doubt we will reach our goal; there are so many people who read Bedu every day, if only 10% contribute something we should be able to make Carol happy and unite her with her beloved friends!
For myself I am very happy I could finally help and contribute in giving her some real support and happiness. There are so many burdens she has to carry all on her own and which we cannot do anything to lighten.
I know from experience how very important and comforting it is to not be alone, to have your purring cat on your lap and to bask in the unconditional love of a pet.
The therapeutic value of pets is recognized in many hospitals now. They have special visiting pets for the patients to interact with, cuddle and groom. The patients get well sooner and feel much happier.
Just imagine how it will be to get your own pets back after 1,5 year! And I think Carol thought she had lost them forever.
And these cats have been her friends for so many years!
I can’t wait to see the reunion.
That means you will have to have somebody to make photos for us Carol!
Aafke,
I want you and anyone who is able to meet my kitties! I realize they will likely have changed some due to the time that I’ve been apart from them but I am confident their love and sense of mischief and adventure has remained.
Yes, I have no doubt there will be many photos taken of this reunion. They will likely be highly jet lagged but that is not going to stop me from hugging and holding them tightly.
And yes, before anyone asks, animals do have jet lag the same as humans!
i love the map!.. so cute
The map looks old!
I will help too.
I hope the cats come soon
The cat has run across 2/3rd of the distance!
Oh, I love the map. Hope the cats will soon be on North Carolina soil. Are they flying into Charlotte?
Thanks for the update!
Salaams Carol:
I donated too, and can’t wait to see the reunion pictures. Stay strong my sister. Allaah t’ala will get your cats to you
The picture looks like it ‘s a dog carrying a piece of paper back toward the US with a butterfly chasing after the cat. Someone I know tells me that she can see butterflies after a person is gone and she thinks that there’s a connection. And, there it is in black and white. Anyone else see it?
Miriam Mac…..yeah, kind of now that you point it out.
I love the idea of seeing butterflies after somebody is gone!
or a hummingbird! That would probably be more like me..
I just donated $5 to the cause, I wish I could donate more but that’s all I can do at the moment. Still, if everyone who reads Carol’s blog regularly were to donate $5 or even $1 she could have her dear cats back very soon! :^)
Mahla, you are absolutely right. Thank you for donating.
